Captain Michael Anderson
Captain Michael Anderson has been fishing and competing in tournaments on Tampa Bay and Florida state
waters for over 20 years.
Born and raised in central Wisconsin, Captain Mike joined the U.S. Air Force in 1986 and served almost 7 years before getting out and settling
in the Tampa Bay area.
He has been guiding on the West coast of Florida for over 12 years and specializes in backcountry light tackle fishing for Tarpon, Snook,
Redfish and Trout.
He is the Host of "Reel Animals Saturday" on AM970 WFLA radio in Tampa from 6 to 8 a.m. every Saturday morning and the Co-Host of the "TA Mahoney Company/Reel Animals Radio Show" on AM620 WDAE in Tampa on Sunday mornings from 7 to 9 a.m. Capt. Mike has been hosting fish radio for over 12 years.
Captain Mike is also co-host of the "Reel Animals Fishing Show" TV version which airs in 85 million households nationally and in Canada on Tuff TV, World Fishing Network, My Family TV and SunSports along with several broadcast markets including News Channel 8 in Tampa.
He is also currently co-hosting a TV show called “Reel Dream Makers” which airs on Sun Sports, as well. Captain Mike also hosts a monthly “Fishing Conversation” at Gator Ford in Tampa which occurs the second Tuesday of every month.
Captain Mike is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys sharing his fishing experience and techniques with the public and spending time on the water with his wife, Beth and daughters Rachel, Georgia and grandson Ryder.
Captain Billy Nobles
Captain Billy was born in North Carolina on February 23, 1963. It was in the eastern part of the state where his mother and father taught him to admire and respect the great outdoors. He started his professional fishing career at the age of 13, mating on several
offshore boats and fishing in tournaments throughout Virginia and the Carolinas.
Upon moving to Florida he started fishing small local tournaments, immediately winning several of them. It was not long until Captain Billy put the skills his parents taught him as a child to use and became a charter captain in west central and Southwest Florida; fishing over
300 trips per year. Captain Billy specializes in catching trophy fish on light tackle.
Captain Billy is a well respected guide, lecturer; giving seminars at local fishing clubs and civic organizations. He also serves as tournament director for many of the local fishing tourneys including the Continental National St.Jude's Greater Tampa Bay Fishing Tournament, the Magnum Tampa Bay Shootout;
a fundraiser for the Florida
Captain Billy has been featured on several local and national television shows including O'Neil's Family Outdoors, Cabela's Team Outdoors, Hooked on Fishing, The Average Angler, and The Professional Tarpon Tournament Series.
He has also been featured in print several times in the Tampa Tribune, Saint Petersburg Times, Waterline Magazine, Boca Beacon, Onshore-Offshore Magazine, Saltwater Angler, Florida Sportsman, Saltwater Sportsman, Shallow Water Angler, and Sports Afield.
